Abilities Center Earns Foundation Grant

ROCKFORD — The Abilities Center has been awarded $1,900 from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.

The grant will be used to complete the beautification of its TECHWORKS facility, 185 15th Ave., which houses programs dedicated to training manufacturing skills.

The Abilities Center is a member of Goodwill Industries International and serves 700 people a year.
